If you work in or around illicit drugs markets, we cordially invite you to our second FREE CPD event of 2026. Please be aware, this event is not open to the public. 

 

This time around:

 

Tony D'Agostino takes detailed look at the current UK drug intelligence landscape, exploring new trends and emerging threats. To kick things off Tony will talk to us about:
• Cannabis, THC vapes and synthetic cannabinoids
• Ketamine and Tusi
• Lean and other changing patterns of use
• Nitazenes and adulteration of the illicit drug supply
• Pregabalin, dependence and withdrawal
• Methamphetamine and its possible growing relevance in the UK
• Online trends such as looksmaxxing

Sarah Hiscox will share her personal journey through heroin addiction and recovery.

Lou Martin, Financial Intelligence Manager with OPAL, will examine the consideration, and reconsideration, of criminal benefit.
 

Zach will speak openly about his experience of cocaine addiction and his work today as a recovery and addiction mentor.

Margarito “Jay” Flores Jr will dive into his experiences of operating one of the largest drug-trafficking organisations in North America alongside his brother Pedro; providing insight into  Mexican cartels, international cocaine trafficking, and the UK and European connections to that trade.

 

Registration is free but must be completed by each individual attendee. Group bookings will not be permitted.
